Medium jewellery box - other boxes

Main Material: Solid English Walnut for the box, with a clean, understated lid. The focus is on precision and craftsmanship rather than ornate details.

Interior: The box will include a removable tray made of Walnut and Cherry. The dividers in the tray to have beveled 45-degree cuts on both sides (forming a “spear-like” profile) and slot cleanly into corresponding grooves in the tray walls, like in the picture of the tray I sent in my previous email (attached again for reference). This technique will create a clean, polished finish and ensure everything aligns perfectly.

Lining: Suede for the tray base (please only line the base like attached pic), with the rest of the interior lined in English Cherry for a warm, complementary contrast.

Lid and Tray Design: The lid should feature a half-moon-shaped indent, precisely carved for ease of lifting, while the outer tray should also include a half-moon cut-out to allow for easy lifting of the inner tray. Both the lid and tray cut-outs should follow the examples in the pictures of the previous box I shared (attached again for reference), maintaining the same level of craftsmanship. This includes ensuring the edges are carefully hand-sanded to at least 320 grit for a flawlessly smooth finish, with no sharpness or roughness. All surfaces, including the indents, should be finished with the same French polish and beeswax as the rest of the box to provide a consistent and refined look and feel.

Lock: Could it please include a lock, I have attached an image of one of yours. The same style would be perfect to keep everything minimal. (please keep all hardware the same colour)

Finish: French polish with a final coat of beeswax to enhance the wood’s natural tones and provide a durable, tactile surface.
